这是自从第三季Michael提到中国的改革开放政策之后另外一个中国的元素出现在QAF, 想来大概是因为Hal对于中国的热爱也影响到了编剧一点。。。

有的哦，在某一篇Q&A裡，有人問了Hal這個問題，Hal做了如下的回答

Q：In episode 410 of Queer as Folk, Michael and Justin visited a Chinese herbalist. Since you are interested in China, I was wondering if you had any influence on that plot choice.

Hal：I'm sure I played an indirect role. The same way I influenced the creation of Ben's Zen side. I think Ron and Dan made Ben that way as a sort of gift to me.


所以，看來片中的中國事物受Hal的影響還蠻多的～
順便一說，Hal的偶像就是成龍（還有李連杰）。
